7th Wave Pictures has large quantities of 8mm and super 8mm films mostly from the 1940’s through the 1970’s. Vintage film has a unique look that pictures can’t quite get across. Nostalgic films from the mid 20th Century are prevalent in documentaries and television broadcasts all over the world.
Much of our library is family created films of weddings, birthdays, celebrations, US landmarks, vacations, sports, and everyday life. Because much of the film is of the amateur variety it adds a sense of nostalgia. The mannerisms, clothing and hairstyles, cars and lifestyle are magical! |
We are excited to have 8mm films of the White House, Niagara Falls, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and many popular landmarks across the United States.
